VacationYou begin accruing vacation the day you're hired, equal to three weeks a year for your first two years and four weeks a year after that (more for managers). You also receive a bonus week of vacation every five years. Additional time awayAll associates are eligible for nine days of sick time per year, and bereavement leave. Short-term disability and pregnancy benefitsWe provide short-term disability benefits that replace all or part of your income at no cost to you. How much you receive — and for how long — is based on your length of service with the Capital Group. Generally, associates are also eligible for at least 90 days of paid or partially paid pregnancy leave after one year of service, plus any additional leave allowed by provincial maternity and parental leave laws. Long-term disability benefitsIf you become disabled and are unable to work for more than 180 consecutive days in a 12-month period, the Capital Group will replace up to 66 ⅔% of your salary (subject to insurance guidelines). |
