Time away from workVacationNew full-time associates may take more than three weeks of paid time off each year. Associates earn additional vacation time after three years of service, including a bonus week of vacation at every fifth-year anniversary. HolidaysCapital recognizes approximately nine holidays each year. In general, our U.S.-based offices are open on all days the New York Stock Exchange is open. Paid jury dutyCapital will pay for up to 10 days of jury duty in a 12-month period. Sick leaveAssociates accrue 72 hours of paid sick leave every 12 months to use for their own or an eligible family member's illness. Short Term DisabilityAssociates may receive all or part of their salary for up to the first 180 days of disability in a 12-month period. Amount and duration of benefits paid are based on length of service with Capital. Long Term DisabilityIf unable to work for more than 180 consecutive days in a twelve month period, this program will replace up to 60% of an associate's salary. (Subject to insurance guidelines) Pregnancy leaveAssociates are eligible for up to 90 days of pregnancy leave if they become pregnant after joining Capital. All or part of their salary will be replaced based on length of service. |
